Where to See the STI Merit List in Nankana Sahib

There are three places where you can follow the Nankana Sahib STI lists:

• School notice board: The initial merit list for each seat is pasted on the notice board of that school in Nankana Sahib. This is the main source from 23 October.
• Tehsil education office: Tehsil-level committees in Nankana Sahib, Sangla Hill and Shah Kot handle objections, so their offices are also a good place to ask questions.
• STI portal: The final merit list will be shown on the official portal at sti.pesrp.edu.pk on 31 October 2026, and agreement letters will be issued there on 2 November.

Always take a photo of the full list, including the date and school name at the top. You will need this if you decide to file a complaint.

Tehsils Covered in Nankana Sahib District

Nankana Sahib is part of Lahore Division and has 3 tehsils: Nankana Sahib, Sangla Hill and Shah Kot. Every government primary, elementary and high school in these tehsils that advertised STI seats will show its own list.

Nankana Sahib is close to Lahore and Sheikhupura, so some graduates from those cities also apply here. Expect tough competition for high school seats, especially for science and mathematics subjects.

How STI Merit Is Calculated in Nankana Sahib

The merit formula is the same in Nankana Sahib as in the rest of Punjab. Your score is out of 100 and is mostly based on your academic record:

Let us take a simple example. If you got 900/1100 in Matric, 780/1100 in Intermediate and 3.00/4.00 CGPA in your BS, your academic score is about 12.3 + 10.6 + 41.3 = 64.2. With a B.Ed (10) and an interview score of 4, your total becomes about 78. For more detail, see our STI merit calculator and the STI merit formula guide.

Since most of the score comes from your degree, a small difference in graduation marks can move you several places up or down the Nankana Sahib list. Check that the portal has picked up your marks correctly.

STI Stipend for Selected Interns in Nankana Sahib

The internship runs from 3 November 2026 to 31 May 2027. It is temporary and will not be converted into a permanent job, but you will receive an experience certificate at the end, which helps in future teaching jobs.

Name Missing From the Nankana Sahib List? File an Objection

Mistakes happen, especially with marks entered on the portal. If you find a problem, the objection window is 26 – 27 October 2026, and complaints are handled by tehsil-level committees in Nankana Sahib.

1. Write a short application addressed to the tehsil committee, with your name, CNIC, school name and the problem.
2. Attach copies of your CNIC, degrees and the photo of the merit list.
3. Submit it in person and ask for a receipt or diary number.
4. Check the school board again before the interviews to see if the list is corrected.

STI Interviews in Nankana Sahib: 29 – 30 October 2026

Shortlisted candidates in Nankana Sahib will be interviewed on 29 and 30 October. The interview carries 5 marks, so it can decide close cases. Keep these documents ready:

• Original CNIC and two photocopies
• Original Matric, Intermediate and degree certificates with transcripts
• B.Ed, M.Ed or ADE certificate, if you have one
• Domicile and recent passport-size photographs
• A printout of your STI portal application

Dress simply and neatly, reach early and be ready to explain why you want to teach. A short demo of how you would start a lesson often leaves a good impression.

What Happens After the Final List

Selected candidates will get their letters of agreement on the portal on 2 November and will join their schools from 3 November 2026. Keep checking your SMS and email after the final list.
