On the Day: Timing and Conduct
- Reach the school at least 30 minutes before the school opens. Schools follow winter timings, starting at 8:45 AM.
- Check the interview schedule on the school notice board. Many schools do not send separate call letters. See STI interview call letter if you have not received one.
- Wear simple, formal clothes. Teaching is the post, so look like a teacher.
- Switch off your phone before you enter the room.
- Answer briefly and honestly. If you do not know something, say so instead of guessing.
Demo Lesson: Be Ready in 3 Minutes
Most panels ask for a short demo lesson in your subject. Prepare one topic from the class level you applied for, with a clear start, one example on the board and one question for the class.
