The Punjab Transport Company (PTC) has announced 105 vacancies across its Project Management Units (PMUs) and Project Implementation Units (PIUs), with some of the top positions offering monthly salaries close to Rs. 10 lac.
Top-Paying Positions
The highest-paid role on offer is Project Director, which carries a monthly salary of Rs. 950,000 for a single vacancy. The Chief Engineer position follows with a monthly package of Rs. 850,000, also for one seat. Several Manager-level roles across the PMUs and PIUs offer Rs. 568,750 per month.
Eligibility Requirements
For the Project Director post, candidates need a Master’s degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or Project Management, along with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years managing large infrastructure projects. The upper age limit for this role is 50 years.
The Chief Engineer position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, 15 years of overall experience with 8 years specifically in infrastructure or transport projects, and a maximum age of 50 years. Assistant Manager posts call for relevant qualifications with 4 to 5 years of experience and an age limit of 40 years, while Sub Engineer and Quantity Surveyor roles require a DAE diploma, 5 years of experience, and a maximum age of 45. A dedicated Health & Safety role requires a recognised HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA.

All applications must be submitted online through the official Punjab Job Portal only; PTC has clarified that submissions via email, hand delivery or courier will not be accepted. The application deadline is September 30, 2026.
Selected candidates will be appointed on a 12-month contract basis. PTC has reserved the right to reject applications with incomplete information or to cancel any advertised position without providing a reason, so applicants are advised to ensure their submissions are complete before the deadline.
