2nd and 3rd Merit Lists: What to Expect
After the University of Education first merit list 2026, UE has confirmed that further merit lists will be issued based on seat availability and its admission schedule. Seats open up when selected candidates do not pay by the deadline, so closing merit usually drops a little in each new list.
- If you are just below the closing merit, keep checking; your chance in the 2nd list is real.
- Popular Lahore programs move less between lists than smaller campuses.
- Use the reminder button in the tool above so you do not miss the next release.
How to Judge Your Chances From the First List
The University of Education first merit list 2026 tells you a lot even if your name is missing. Look at the last candidate’s aggregate in your program and campus. That number is the closing merit for the first list.
- Within 1 to 2 marks of the closing merit: good chance in the 2nd list, keep checking daily.
- 3 to 5 marks below: possible in the 2nd or 3rd list, especially at smaller campuses.
- Far below: apply to the same program at another UE campus or keep a backup admission.
Merit usually drops more in B.Ed. and smaller-campus BS programs than in high-demand Lahore programs such as Computer Science or English. Do not pay fees at two places unless you are ready to lose one.
If Your Name Is Not on the University of Education First Merit List 2026
Missing the University of Education first merit list 2026 is common and does not mean you are out. Check the next lists, compare your aggregate with the closing merit of the same program at other UE campuses, and keep a backup admission ready elsewhere. If you applied for more than one program, check each list separately.
