Honor has launched the Play 11, a budget-friendly rugged smartphone starting at just $195, built around an 8,300 mAh battery and durability features designed to withstand harsh handling.

Pricing and Key Specifications

The Honor Play 11 starts at $195 for the base 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage configuration. A mid-tier variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at $225, while the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs $265.

The phone’s standout feature is its 8,300 mAh typical battery capacity, rated at 7,900 mAh under standard conditions, supporting 45W wired charging along with reverse charging capability. Honor says the battery is designed to maintain its health for up to six years under the company’s lab testing conditions, a notable durability claim for a phone at this price point.

The Play 11 runs on a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its 6.872-inch TFT LCD display offers a 1592 x 720 pixel resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP selfie camera at f/2.2. The device ships with Android 16 and Honor’s MagicOS 10.0 on top.

Built to Survive

True to its rugged positioning, the Play 11 carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, and Honor says it can survive drops from 2.5 meters.

The Play 11 has launched in China as part of Honor’s broader Play series, which also includes the Play 11C, 11T, 11 Plus and 11 Pro models, giving Honor a wide spread of rugged and budget options within a single product family.
