BySammar Abbas

Oct 26, 2026

Every step of the College Teaching Interns induction, from registration to merit lists and joining, runs through one website: cti-hep.punjab.gov.pk. If you cannot get past the login page, you cannot see your merit, your interview list or your placement. This CTI portal login guide shows you, in simple steps, how to register, log in, complete your profile, check your merit and status, and fix the most common errors.

The portal is run by the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab under what many candidates call the CTI induction system. sti.org.pk is an independent guide, not the official website, so always enter your CNIC and password only on the official portal.

Official CTI portal: cti-hep.punjab.gov.pk · Login with CNIC and password · Final merit list: 29 Oct 2026 · Joining: 2 Nov 2026 · Joining report on portal: 3 Nov 2026.

What You Can Do on the CTI Portal

The CTI portal is not just an application form. During the 2026-27 cycle, candidates use it at almost every stage:

StageWhat the portal is used for
Registration and profileCreate an account with CNIC and add personal and academic details
Profile completionEnter marks as percentages and upload DMCs; only completed profiles move ahead
Apply against vacanciesChoose college and subject from the vacancy list
Merit listsView tentative and final merit positions
Placement and joiningSee placement offers and record joining (3 November 2026)

How to Register on the CTI Portal

New candidates must create an account first. The exact labels on the page may change slightly from year to year, but the process stays the same:

  1. Open the official CTI portal in Chrome or any updated browser.
  2. Click the registration or sign-up option.
  3. Enter your 13-digit CNIC without dashes, your full name exactly as on your CNIC, a working mobile number and email.
  4. Create a strong password and write it down somewhere safe.
  5. Submit the form and log in with your new CNIC and password.

Use your own CNIC and mobile number. Accounts made with a relative’s number often get locked when a verification code is needed later.

CTI Portal Login Step by Step

  1. Go to the official HED portal.
  2. Enter your CNIC number in the login field (usually without dashes).
  3. Enter your password carefully. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  4. Click Login. Your dashboard will show your profile, applications and current status.
  5. After you finish, log out, especially on a shared or cyber-café computer.

If the page loads slowly on result days, try again early in the morning or late at night when traffic is lower.

How to Complete Your CTI Profile

HED announced in August 2026 that only candidates with a completed profile would move to the next phase. Profile completion has the biggest impact on your merit, because 85 out of 100 marks come from your education. Keep these points in mind:

  • Enter Matric, Intermediate, BS/Master’s and any MPhil/PhD records exactly as written on your DMCs.
  • Marks are now entered as percentages; the old slab system has been removed, so a typing mistake can change your merit.
  • Upload clear scans of each DMC and degree. Blurry images can be rejected during scrutiny.
  • If you served as a CTI last session, add your experience details. Prior CTI performance can carry up to 10 marks.
  • Review the preview page before final submission.

For the full eligibility rules and merit formula, see our CTI 2026-27 complete guide, and for the application steps, read CTI apply online 2026-27.

How to Check CTI Merit and Status

Once lists are published, log in and open the merit or application status section on your dashboard. You will see your merit score and, where available, your position for the college and subject you applied for. Lists are also displayed on college notice boards. For the current round, the tentative list came on 23 October, the successful candidates list on 26 October and the final merit list on 29 October 2026. Read more in our CTI merit list guide and CTI final merit list 2026 updates.

If your marks are wrong, you must file a written complaint on 27–28 October. See how to file a CTI grievance. Selected candidates should then follow our CTI joining 2026 guide.

Forgot CTI Portal Password

If you forgot your password, use the forgot-password option on the login page. Enter your CNIC and the mobile number or email you used at registration, then follow the reset instructions. If you no longer have that number or email, contact HED through the official portal or the helpline details shown there, and keep your CNIC copy ready. Never share your password with any agent or website.
