Oct 31, 2026

If your name is on the STI final merit list 2026, your first day as a School Teacher Intern is Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The STI joining 3 November step is simple, but many interns lose time on the first morning because of a missing photocopy or an unsigned agreement. This checklist covers every document to carry, what happens at the school, and how to make a good start in your first week.

Schedule: Final list 31 October | Agreement letter 2 November (download guide) | Joining 3 November | Internship ends 31 May 2027.

Common Joining Day Problems

  • Name spelling or CNIC mismatch: do not overwrite documents; inform the head teacher and district office the same day.
  • Agreement letter not downloaded: try the portal early in the morning of 2 or 3 November.
  • Late joining: if you cannot join on 3 November, inform the head teacher in writing immediately. Unexplained absence can lead to your seat going to the next candidate (STI waiting list).
  • Selected at two schools: you can join only one.
