Who Can Apply? Eligibility for AIOU Faculty Jobs 2026
AIOU will judge eligibility according to HEC criteria for Lecturer and Associate Professor posts. Shortlisting follows the AIOU Services Statutes 1978, the AIOU Recruitment & Promotion Rules 2022 (amended up to 27 April 2026) and the university’s Internal Assessment Framework. The upper age limit is as prescribed in the rules, with relaxation available under the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993.

The dossier must include attested academic documents, research articles, conference papers, the number of MPhil and PhD students supervised, research grants or projects, community development work and the paid original bank challan. Without the online application, hard copies will not be considered.
