The BISE Faisalabad 9th class result 2026 shows private schools recording a significantly higher pass percentage than government schools, according to the board’s official result gazette. Private schools achieved a pass rate of 72.68% among regular candidates, compared with 45.49% for government schools, a gap of 27.19 percentage points.
BISE Faisalabad 9th Class Result 2026: Government vs Private Schools
Government schools had 113,502 regular candidates appear, of whom 51,637 passed, for a pass rate of 45.49%. Private schools had 54,711 candidates appear, of whom 39,762 passed, for a pass rate of 72.68%. Across all regular candidates, 168,213 appeared and 91,399 passed, for a combined pass rate of 54.34%.
Government schools still produced 11,875 more successful candidates in absolute terms, since their candidate pool was more than twice the size of the private-school pool. Measured strictly by pass percentage, private schools were well ahead.
Private Schools Led in All Four Districts
Private schools recorded a higher pass percentage than government schools in every district under BISE Faisalabad. The widest gap appeared in Faisalabad district itself, where private schools led by 29.38 percentage points (71.82% versus 42.44%). Chiniot followed closely with a 27.76-point gap, and Toba Tek Singh recorded the highest private-school pass rate of all districts at 75.46%, against 48.17% for government schools there. Jhang showed the narrowest gap at 19.08 points, though government schools in Jhang still posted the sector’s best government pass rate at 55.75%.
Girls Outperformed Boys in Both Sectors
Female candidates achieved markedly higher pass percentages than male candidates across both school types. Private-school girls posted the strongest result of any group, with 21,944 of 27,533 candidates passing for a 79.70% pass rate — nearly eight in every ten candidates. Private-school boys followed at 65.56%. Among government schools, girls achieved a 50.92% pass rate compared with 39.31% for boys, a gap of over 11 percentage points.
Who Performed Better?
Private schools clearly dominated the BISE Faisalabad 9th class results when performance is measured by pass percentage, maintaining a consistent lead across Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot districts. Government schools still accounted for the largest number of total candidates and produced more successful students in raw numbers, but their overall pass percentage remained substantially below that of private institutions throughout the board’s jurisdiction.
