The new Edifier W800NB ANC headphones have officially launched, bringing a fresh pair of wireless over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation, LDAC support, and an unusually long battery life of up to 118 hours. The headphones are currently available for reservation through e-commerce platforms including JD.com, with an introductory price of $43.

The Edifier W800NB uses 40mm dynamic drivers with silver-plated diaphragms, a design choice aimed at delivering clearer high frequencies and improved detail compared to standard driver materials. The W800NB weighs 250 grams and uses memory protein leather earcups paired with slow-rebound foam, materials chosen to improve comfort during extended listening sessions. Edifier has also introduced a four-axis floating structure for the headband and earcups, allowing the headphones to adjust more naturally to different head shapes and sizes. The headphones use a foldable design, making them easier to store and carry while traveling.

The W800NB includes three microphones with AI-powered noise reduction designed to improve voice clarity during calls made in noisy environments, a feature that has become increasingly common on premium wireless headphones. Battery Life and Connectivity
Battery life reaches up to 118 hours with ANC disabled and roughly 60 to 70 hours with ANC enabled, figures that place the W800NB well ahead of most competing wireless headphones in its price range. A 15-minute quick charge provides approximately 18 hours of playback, useful for users who forget to charge overnight. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device pairing for switching between two connected devices, wired audio support for when Bluetooth isn’t an option, and a low-latency gaming mode for reduced audio delay during gameplay.
App Support and Extra Features
Users can customize the W800NB through Edifier’s companion app, including adjusting EQ settings and remapping button controls to their preference. The app also supports firmware updates, a child mode for volume-limited listening, voice-prompt language selection, and a headphone-finding feature for locating misplaced earcups.
