Thousands of students across Punjab are waiting for the supplementary result 2026. If you failed one or two papers in the annual exams, or appeared again to improve your marks, this page tells you exactly when your result is due and how to check it on the official board website. The dates below come from the official exam and result schedule that all nine Punjab boards announced together in March 2026.

In one line: the matric supplementary result 2026 is scheduled for 8 December 2026, and the inter supplementary result 2026 is scheduled for 12 January 2027. Inter supplementary papers start today, 3 November 2026.

Supplementary Result 2026 Dates for All Punjab Boards

All nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Punjab follow one common calendar. That means a student in Lahore, Multan or DG Khan gets the result on the same day. Here is the full schedule for the 2026 cycle:

For reference, the 9th class annual result came out on 2 September 2026 and the 11th class result on 22 October 2026. You can still read our full guide on the 1st year 11th class result 2026 if you need the part-one details.

Boards announce results at a formal ceremony, usually around 10 am, and the result goes live online shortly after. A board can move the date by a day or two for administrative reasons, so always confirm on your board’s own website in the week before.

Check Your Supplementary Result 2026 Online

Use the checker below. Choose your board and class, keep your roll number ready, and the tool will take you to the official result page of your board. The countdown shows how many days are left for each result.

Step-by-Step Method

1. Find your roll number on your supplementary admit card (roll number slip).
2. Open your board’s official website from the checker above.
3. Click the result link for “Matric Supplementary 2026” or “Intermediate Supplementary 2026”.
4. Search by roll number. Most boards also let you search by name or by institution.
5. Download or screenshot your result card, and later collect the official result card from your school or college.

Official Punjab Board Websites

Boards also share an SMS service on result day. The short code and message format are printed in the official result notice, so check the notice on your board’s website rather than codes shared on social media.

Things to Keep Ready on Result Day

• Your roll number slip, or a photo of it on your phone
• Your annual result card, so you can compare marks paper by paper
• A working internet connection, since board websites slow down in the first hour; try again after some time if a page does not open
• Your college or school contact, in case you need the gazette or an official copy
• The rechecking fee deadline, which starts counting from result day

Tip: on result morning, open only the official board site. Pages that ask you to pay, share your CNIC or install an app to “see the result early” are not official.

Who Appears in the Supplementary Exams?

The supplementary exam is a second chance in the same year, so a student does not lose a full academic year. Under Punjab board rules, these candidates usually appear:

• Students who failed one or more papers in the annual exam
• Students who want to improve their marks (marks improvement), where the board allows it
• Students who could not appear in the annual exam in certain papers

If you pass in the supplementary exam, your new result card normally shows the combined result. For marks improvement, the board keeps the better of the two scores, as set out in its rules.

What to Do After the Supplementary Result

If You Pass

Congratulations. Matric students can now apply for 11th class admission in colleges that still have open seats, and many government colleges keep a window for supplementary passouts. Inter students can apply for degree programmes, associate degrees and diplomas, and for teaching and internship jobs that need intermediate. Keep an eye on our career and jobs section for new openings.

If You Are Not Satisfied With Your Marks

Every Punjab board allows rechecking of answer sheets for a fee, usually within 15 days of the result. Rechecking only covers totalling mistakes and unmarked questions; papers are not marked again from scratch. Apply only through your board’s website or office.

If You Fail Again

Don’t give up. You can appear in the next annual exam as a private or regular candidate. Many successful teachers and officers passed on their second or third attempt. Talk to your teachers about the weak subject and plan early.

Beware of Fake Result Websites and Notifications

Every result season, fake pages and WhatsApp messages claim to “change your result” or show results before the official date. No one can change board results for money. Results are published only by the boards. Read our report on the Karachi board fake website scam and our fact-check on the HEC fake notification to see how these scams work. Board leadership in Punjab has also been reorganised this year; see Punjab boards secretaries appointed.

Important: Dates on this page follow the official Punjab boards schedule announced in March 2026. We will update this page on result day with the official links and any change in dates.
