At STI.org.pk, our purpose is to make information about the School Teacher Internship (STI) Programme Punjab — and related education jobs, results and updates in Pakistan — clear, accurate and easy to act on.
Thousands of graduates apply for STI positions every recruitment cycle. They need to know who is eligible, how to apply on the STI portal, how merit is calculated, when lists are displayed, what the monthly stipend is, and what to do if something goes wrong. Official information is often spread across portal notices, district-level notifications, advertisements and social-media posts, and much of what circulates in WhatsApp groups is incomplete or wrong. This Editorial Policy explains the standards we follow so that what you read here is reliable, transparent and genuinely useful.
Important: STI.org.pk is NOT the official STI portal and is not a government website. We do not accept applications, prepare merit lists, issue joining orders, or pay stipends. We never ask candidates for money, CNIC photos, portal passwords, OTPs or “processing fees”.
Our Editorial Mission
Our mission is to help candidates understand the STI process before they take their next step. Every page we publish should help a reader answer at least one practical question, such as:
- Am I eligible for STI in my district and subject, and what degree is required?
- How do I register, log in and apply on the official STI portal?
- How is the merit list prepared, and how are marks calculated?
- When will the merit list, interview or final list be displayed for my district?
- What is the current monthly stipend, and how long is the internship?
- What should I do if the portal shows an error, or I forgot my password?
- Is a viral message about a new STI advertisement or result real?
We do not aim to repeat information that exists elsewhere. We organise, explain and verify it so candidates understand what it means for them and what to confirm next with the official portal or their District Education Authority.
Our Core Editorial Principles
| Principle | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Accuracy | Eligibility, stipend amounts, dates, portal links and procedures are checked against official sources before publishing. |
| Clarity | We write in simple language, with numbered steps, tables and FAQs, for first-time applicants. |
| Transparency | Each page shows who wrote it, when it was last reviewed, and what is still unconfirmed. |
| Independence | No government office, academy, advertiser or third party decides what we publish. |
| Candidate safety | We warn readers about fake portals, paid ‘agents’ and requests for money or passwords. |
| Accountability | When we make a mistake, we correct it openly and promptly. |
| Helpfulness | Every page must solve a real candidate problem — not exist only to attract traffic. |
Who Our Content Is For
- Fresh graduates applying for School Teacher Internship positions in Punjab.
- Candidates checking district-wise vacancies, merit lists and final results.
- Selected interns looking for joining, contract, attendance and stipend information.
- Candidates preparing for other teaching and education jobs in Pakistan.
- Students following board results, entry tests and education-sector announcements.
- Readers using low-cost smartphones and slow internet connections.
- Parents, teachers and academies who guide candidates through the process.
Because many readers are new to these systems, we explain terms such as PESRP, PMIU, DEA, CEO Education, merit formula and joining report the first time they appear on a page.

How We Research Our Content
Every piece begins with a real candidate question — from comments, emails and search behaviour. We then decide what information is needed, which parts may change, and which sources can confirm it. Our full source hierarchy is explained on our Sources & Research Methodology page. In summary:
- Primary official sources — the official STI portal, School Education Department Punjab, PESRP/PMIU and District Education Authorities.
- Official documents — advertisements, notifications, merit-list notices, policy documents and verified official social-media accounts.
- Credible Pakistani news reporting — for early discovery and context, then traced back to the official source.
- Candidate questions and search data — to learn what readers need explained, never as proof.
- Social media, WhatsApp and Facebook groups — leads only, never evidence.
Our Fact-Checking Standards
Accuracy matters most when a page could affect whether a candidate applies, travels for an interview, or accepts a posting. Before publishing or materially updating content, we check each of the following individually:
- Eligibility: required degree, subjects, age limit, domicile and district rules.
- Application steps on the official STI portal.
- Merit criteria and weightage.
- Dates: application window, list display, interview, joining.
- Stipend amount and internship duration.
- Official portal addresses and helpline/contact details — every link is opened and tested.
Where information cannot be confirmed, we say so. We label developing information clearly:
| Status | Meaning | How we present it |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Verified from the official portal or department | Stated as fact |
| Announced | Officially announced, not yet implemented or displayed | “Announced — expected on [date]” |
| Reported | Reported by credible media, official notice not yet found | Attributed to the outlet |
| Unconfirmed | Social media or WhatsApp only | Not published as fact |
When Sources Conflict
Recruitment details sometimes differ between the provincial announcement, district notices and media reports. When this happens we ask: which authority is responsible, which notice is newer, and does the difference apply only to one district, subject or phase? If the conflict cannot be resolved, the page says so and tells candidates how to confirm directly with the portal or their District Education Authority.
Official Information Always Takes Priority
STI.org.pk explains the STI programme; it does not replace it. Eligibility rules, merit criteria, stipends, schedules and procedures can change without notice. If anything on our site differs from the official STI portal or a current official notification, the official information is authoritative. Always confirm before submitting an application, travelling for an interview, or relying on a date.
Writing and Language Standards
- Plain language, short paragraphs, and numbered steps for every process.
- Key answer first — eligibility summary, dates, stipend and official link near the top of the page.
- Urdu terms alongside English where they help readers, translated carefully so official meaning is not changed.
- No exaggeration — we do not write “guaranteed selection” or “final list” unless an official source says so.
- Numbers exactly as officially stated — stipends, marks and seat numbers are never rounded or estimated.
- District- and subject-specific details are never presented as rules for the whole province.
Headlines and Titles
Headlines must accurately describe the page. We do not use titles such as “STI Final Merit List Released” when a list has not been displayed, or “Stipend Increased” when no official change has been made. A year (e.g. 2026) appears in a title only when the page has been reviewed for that recruitment cycle.
News Reporting and Attribution
Our News section covers education updates and selected national, business, technology and energy stories. For news:
- Articles are written in our own words — we do not copy text from other publishers.
- When a story was first reported by another outlet, we credit that outlet by name and, where appropriate, link to it.
- Facts, figures and quotes are attributed to their original official source or publication.
- Images are used only where we have the right to use them or with credit to the source.
- News is dated, and later developments are added as updates rather than silently changing the original report.
Images, Screenshots and Downloads
- Portal screenshots illustrate steps, with any personal data removed or blurred.
- Government logos are used only to identify a programme, never to suggest our website is official.
- Downloadable merit lists or notifications are shared only if they come from an official source, with the source and date stated.
- “Apply” or “Login” buttons on our pages link only to the official STI portal.
Dates and Time-Sensitive Information
Important guides display a “Last reviewed” or “Last updated” date. A page receives a new date only when meaningful information has been checked or changed — never just to make it look fresh.
Content Review and Update Schedule
| Page type | Review frequency | Triggered early by |
|---|---|---|
| Application / portal guides | Weekly while applications are open | Portal change, new advertisement |
| Merit list & result pages | On every official display | New list, objection window, schedule change |
| Eligibility & stipend pages | Every recruitment cycle | New policy or notification |
| Evergreen explainers | Every 6 months | Reader-reported error |
| News articles | When a story develops | Official follow-up or correction |
Corrections Policy
If we find published information is incorrect, outdated or misleading, we correct it — by replacing a wrong figure, updating a procedure, fixing a link, clarifying an ambiguous sentence or removing unsupported information. Significant corrections are noted on the page with the date and a short description. Minor typo or formatting fixes are made without a note.
Report an Error
Use our Contact Us page (subject: “Correction Request”) with the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong, the correct information and — if possible — the official source. Please do not send your CNIC, portal password or personal documents.
How We Use Artificial Intelligence and Automation
- Digital tools, including AI, may help us organise notes, structure articles and improve readability.
- AI output is never treated as a source of facts.
- Every eligibility rule, stipend, date, link and figure in an AI-assisted draft is checked by a person against official sources.
- AI is never used to invent quotes, statistics, candidate stories or credentials.
- Final responsibility for all content rests with our editorial team and publisher.
Originality and Added Value
We do not copy the official portal, other job websites or news outlets. Our value comes from explaining: combining related official information in one place, turning processes into clear steps, explaining merit calculations, highlighting common mistakes, and helping candidates identify their correct next action.
What We Do Not Publish
- Fake advertisements, invented dates or “leaked” merit lists.
- Invented stipend amounts, seat numbers or eligibility rules.
- Unverified claims presented as confirmed facts.
- Any design or wording that suggests we are the official STI portal.
- Copied content without meaningful original value.
- Near-duplicate pages created only to target small keyword variations.
- Advice on bypassing recruitment rules or verification.
Independence and Conflicts of Interest
Our editorial decisions are independent. We do not accept payment, gifts or favours from government offices, academies, coaching centres, agents or businesses in exchange for coverage or changes to content. A team member with a personal interest in a topic will not be the sole person responsible for that content.
Advertising and Commercial Content
The website is funded by display advertising. Advertising is kept separate from editorial content, and advertisers have no influence over what we write, check or correct. Sponsored content, if ever published, will be clearly labelled and will never cover eligibility, merit or official procedures.
Reader Comments
Candidates often ask questions in the comments. All comments are moderated before they appear. We remove comments containing CNIC numbers, phone numbers or other personal data; we do not publish comments promoting paid agents, “guaranteed selection” services or suspicious links; and we answer common questions by updating the article or FAQ so the answer helps everyone.
We cannot check your individual application, merit position or stipend status. Please use the official STI portal or contact your District Education Authority.
Candidate Privacy
STI applications involve personal data. Our content never encourages readers to share CNIC numbers, portal passwords or documents publicly. Such information should only be entered on the official portal. See our Privacy Policy for how this website handles data.
Authors and Editorial Responsibility
Articles show the name of the person who researched and wrote them, as described on our Editorial Team page. We never use fake names, invented qualifications or false credentials. The publisher of STI.org.pk remains responsible for the standards applied to all content on the website.
Informational Purpose
Content on this website is for general information only. It is not a government guarantee of eligibility, selection or payment, and it is not a substitute for official notifications or records. Candidates remain responsible for confirming information relevant to them with the official portal or department.
