Qualification Required
Candidates must have 2nd Division or Grade C Intermediate (or equivalent) with shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typing speed of 40 wpm, along with a 3-month certificate in computer operations (MS Office).
Under the Establishment Division Office Memorandum dated 22 October 2026, a one-time skill relaxation applies for posts up to BPS-16. If no candidate has the shorthand or typing certificate at the time of selection, the selected candidate will gain this skill through on-the-job training during probation.
Age Limit and Relaxation
- 5 years for candidates belonging to Balochistan Province
- 15 years or the actual service in the Armed Forces (whichever is less) for retired personnel
- 10 years for government servants with 2 years continuous service
- 10 years for persons with disabilities (PWDs)
- 5 years for the widow, son or daughter of a deceased government servant
- Any other relaxation allowed under government policy
A candidate entitled to more than one relaxation will get relaxation in only one category.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will first sit an initial screening test (objective type), followed by a shorthand and typing test, and then an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for the test or interview.
